Search Terms
A name, location, or other query typed into a third-party search box is sent to the provider that operates that tool. Merced County Released Inmates does not keep its own log of those search terms.
Messages
If you email us or send a contact message, we may keep the message and reply details so we can respond. We do not share those messages outside our organization unless a legal duty requires it.
Automatic Site Data
Basic technical data may be collected when a page loads or when the site is used.
- Internet Protocol address.
- Browser name and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and time spent on them.
- Referring website, when available.
- Date and time stamps.
Cookies

Other Websites
This site links to Sheriff, court, CDCR, California VINE, BOP, ICE, legal, and third-party search resources. After you click an outside link, that site's privacy policy and data practices control.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across websites or show targeted ads. Those systems are not operated by Merced County Released Inmates.
Who May Receive Data
We do not sell personal data. Limited data may be available to the parties needed to run the site or comply with law.
